Hello & Happy New Year to Everyone!

We hope 2011 finds all of you healthy and happy this New Year! This is our opportunity to say thank you to all of our wonderful clients and friends for being so supportive and sending your referrals over our 32 years now.  Time flys! Our business still continues to grow and prosper largely because of your referrals and we would like to say “Thank you”!

Our family of trainers and kennel tech apprentice trainers has now grown to 17. It takes a lot of people to take proper care of your dogs! We have multiple shifts with multiple people on from 7 am to 9 pm when your dogs are brought indoors for the night. In addition we have 5 sub-contractors who take care of your dogs grooming, veterinary, and health care needs, as well as our landscaping and janitorial. This has become a complex, but very tightly run and organized operation.

We thought we would do something a little different this year.  We have several photos taken over the last few years of our staff, clients, family, events and changes made to our facility.  This year we have even added a location outside of Nashville Tennessee.  We are getting that location ready to open in 2012 with our son Travis at the helm.  As they say “A picture tells 1000 words.”  So here we go!

2006-2009   We did a total remodel on the house and kennel property in California. Additions included a garden in front of the office dedicated to Nicholas Kimes.  Nick was a former employee who had joined the army and sadly lost his life in a tragic car accident shortly after completing boot camp. We dedicated the garden to him and there is a remembrance book in the garden so that we never forget.

The last two photos were taken at Nicks party before leaving for boot camp.  He was given this blanket that he kept with him and on his bunk.  We all miss his smile.

In the last few years we have had the pleasure of making some new famous friends.  We had Gene Simmons over to shoot an episode for Family Jewel and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson brought friends and fellow MMA Fighters:  Michael “The Count” Bisping (UK), and Cheick Kongo (FR) over for a meal with our very own Greek Chef Alfred Katopolis.  After a great meal they played video games with Travis.  Rampage had his dog “Adronicus” trained with us.

Last year we purchased 37.5 acres NE of Nashville Tn.  The property will serve as a base for son Travis to run another K-9 Companions.  Most of our Boerboels are currently residing there.  The photos show the approach to our property, the flat pasture land at the top of our hill, and our year round spring that feeds the house.

Also our wildlife is abundant.  As one of our neighbors said “You will never go hungry here because your food will hit you in the face.”  If you look real close at the photo with the gate you will see a wild turkey who’s coming for dinner.
